Akwa Tears

Relieve your pet’s dry, irritated eyes with Akwa Tears. This sterile eye lubricant soothes irritation while creating a barrier on the surface of the eye to protect from further irritation and dryness. Akwa Tears is available in two formulations: ointment or drops

  • Soothes irritated eyes in dogs and cats
  • Ideal for “dry eye” (keratoconjunctivitis sicca)
  • Creates a protective barrier on the surface of the eye
  • Choose eye drops or ointment

When your pet’s tear production decreases due to disease, side effects from medications, or breed-related issues, give her relief with Akwa Tears.  This versatile eye medication lubricates the eye and forms a protective barrier over the eye surface to repel further damage and dryness. Akwa Tears can also be used as an eye rinse to cleanse irritated eyes and remove matter from the eye surface.  The active ingredient in Akwa Tears, polyvinyl alcohol, is mixed with other ingredients including lanolin, mineral oil, and white petrolatum into a soothing treatment that’s available in two formulations: eye drops or ointment.
