Using our Shopping Cart

VetRxDirect has been designed to be an easy shopping experience. At the center of the experience is our online shopping cart, the “engine” behind VetRxDirect and how you purchase products from us.

When viewing a product you would like to purchase, click on the orange button that says “add to cart”. After doing so, the product you were viewing will be added to your shopping cart. After adding something to your cart you are taken to your cart.

Click on “keep shopping” if you want to look at more products or click on “checkout now” if you wish to place an order. You can change your cart contents at any time by clicking on “remove” or by changing the quantity of products desired and clicking “change quantity”. You can access your cart at any time within the shopping cart module in the upper right hand corner of your internet browser for easy viewing and to checkout at anytime.

When ready to checkout, click on the “checkout now” link within your shopping cart. You will be taken to our log-in page. At the log in page you will be able to either sign-in if you are an existing VetRxDirect customer or register as a guest if it is your first time shopping with us.

As you progress through checkout you will be asked for four primary pieces of information. First you will be asked for your shipping location, and your e-mail address and phone number (in case we need to get in touch with you directly). Second, you will be asked for your billing information. This address should match the address stored with your credit card company.

Next you will have the option to choose the shipping method for which you wish to receive your products. We offer three methods: Ground, 2nd Day, or Overnight. The associated cost for each of these shipping methods is provided within the drop down boxes within the checkout page.

The final piece of information needed is your credit card information which is provided at the payments page. At this step you need to enter your sixteen digit credit card number, expiration date, and CID number which is the last three numbers located on the back of your card. A visual diagram is provided to assist you with identifying your CID number.

After providing your credit card information, and after clicking “continue checkout” you will be taken to the order review page. This is the final page before your order is sent to VetRxDirect. By clicking “submit order” and we will authorize your purchase and begin the process of shipping you your product.
